Films kijken op Filmgek!

YouTube heeft naast de vele korte filmpjes en filmtrailers ook een groot aantal speelfilms in haar database, die vrij kunnen worden bekeken. Dit zijn veelal klassiekers die zich in het publieke domein bevinden (zie hiervoor ook de site Publicdomainflicks), documentaires en onafhankelijke films. Hieronder bevinden zich tijdloze meesterwerken als Metropolis (1927), Battleship Potemkin (1925), M (1931), The Third Man (1949), Animal Farm (1954) en Night of the Living Dead (1968). Er zitten ook vroege films van bekende regisseurs bij, zoals The Kid (1921) van Charles Chaplin, Blackmail (1929) van Alfred Hitchcock, The Stranger (1946) van Orson Welles, Dementia 13 (1963) van Francis Ford Coppola, Chiller (1985) van Wes Craven en Bad Taste (1987) van Peter Jackson. Om het jullie gemakkelijk te maken zijn we bezig met het aanleggen van een YouTube-filmlijst. De films kunnen hier op Filmgek worden bekeken in de YouTube embedded videoplayer op de filmpagina van de betreffende film.

De lijst bevat nu al 183 188 titels en zal de komende weken nog worden uitgebreid. Voor het gemak hebben we de lijst ingedeeld in verschillende filmgenres. Veel kijkplezier!
