Geboren op 6 maart 1947 in The Bronx, New York City, overleden op 14 december 2025. Hij werd samen met zijn vrouw Michele door hun zoon Nick doodgestoken in hun huis in Los Angeles. Rob Reiner was de zoon van Carl Reiner. Hij werd bekend door zijn rol als Michael Stivic, de liberale schoonzoon van Archie Bunker in de serie "All in the Family", maar was voornamelijk bekend als regisseur. Sinds 12 oktober 1999 heeft hij een ster op de Hollywood Walk of Fame. Deze ligt op 7018 Hollywood Boulevard, naast de ster van zijn vader.
