Corey Yuen

Leeftijd: 73 jaar

Geboren in 1951 in Hongkong. Als kind studeerde hij aan de China Drama Academy in Hongkong, geleid door meester Yu Jim-Yuen. Hij maakte een tijd deel uit van de beroemde Seven Little Fortunes (ook wel The Lucky Seven genoemd), die in Hongkong acrobatische optredens gaven. Vele bekende acteurs uit Hongkong maakten ooit deel uit van dit gezelschap, waaronder Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung Kam-Bo, Yuen Biao, Yuen Qiu, Yuen Wah en Yuen Tak. Als leerling van sifu (leraar) Yu Jim-Yuen namen zij allemaal diens voornaam Yuen als familienaam aan.
